Change Log for November 2013

The following changes or updates were applied to OpenSRS Services in the month of November, 2013:

Domain Service:

  • SRS: New WHOIS output went live in accordance with the 2013 RAA requirements 
  • ccTLDs: .ES names no longer add 1 additional year on transfers in to better align with registry rules
  • SRS: New control panel design launched
  • GoMobi: Added Support For Russian, Greek, Italian, Slovenian, English (UK) as Control Panel Language Options in goMobi API

OpenSRS Email Service

  • Webmail:
    • Feature: Wildcards for blocking/safe list entries now permitted
    • Bug Fix: Reply to a message after viewing a .docx file leads to a white page where the folder view should be in IE10
    • Bug Fix: Emails now load properly in webmail on Windows 8.1
    • Bug Fix: IE8/10 - reply all/ forward - to a message with turkish named files is freezing webmail
    • Bug Fix: IE10 - reply/ reply all - to a message with & and space like a & b.txt named files is freezing webmail
    • Bug Fix: IE8/9 - reply all/forward - to a message with any kind of attached named files is freezing webmail
    • Bug Fix: Firefox - Edit Calendar/Permission to attribute shows blank for a shared calendar user
    • Bug Fix: The back button in IE10 causes webmail to no longer load emails
    • Bug Fix: When double-clicking on a message, the message body disappears in split pane view
    • Bug Fix: IE11 - Webmail basic fails to load message content
    • Additional bug fixes


  • WHMCS plugins updated to version 1.1 fixing a domainsync.php issue

Other bug fixes, and updates to OpenSRS systems that aren't noticeable to resellers are promoted on a weekly basis. This may include updates to support changes made by registries, or other suppliers to their systems. We're always working to improve performance and stability of our systems.
