Sender Policy Framework (SPF) is a technical standard and email authentication technique that helps protect email senders and recipients from spam, spoofing, and phishing. Specifically, it defines a way to validate that an email message was sent from an authorized mail server in order to detect forgery and to prevent spam.
SPF record
OpenSRS's email service is provided through two clusters, cluster A and cluster B. For both the clusters, please include _spf.hostedemail.com in the SPF record.
v=spf1 include:_spf.hostedemail.com ~all
If you need help creating the SPF record, please refer to the SPF creation wizard. After creating the SPF record as a TXT entry on the domain, you can validate the record here.
